Thousands of clicks with multiple subscriptions looks like an audience problem. But before you change the traffic source, you need to go through the entire visitor journey. Open the publication from a regular phone, go to your profile, click the link and try to understand the proposal without knowing your own project.
Check the promise compliance
If the teaser promises a continuation of a specific video, the path should lead to a place where it is available. If the link leads to a generic list of five sites without explanation, momentum is lost. The site can highlight the platform associated with the publication or provide a clear description of the differences.
Use the same portrait, name, and visual vibe. A sudden change in design after a click forces a person to check the address instead of thinking about the content.
Don’t make the discount hide the product
A bright “50%” sign attracts attention, but does not in itself explain what is being sold. Next to it should be the name of the platform, the size of the library and the main format. The person first selects the value, then evaluates the price.
Show only the current discount. If the promotion is finished, remove it from all pages at once. Constant fake urgency may get a few impulsive clicks, but it reduces the trust of a regular audience.
Too many options bog down the decision
Multiple official platforms are useful as long as each has a clear role. Prioritize them. For the first button, use your strongest and most relevant sentence. For others, briefly explain the difference: a separate library, a video channel or a private club.
Do not add links to the magazine, conditions and all social networks in the main block. They may be below. The first screen should respond to the intention of the person who came for continuation.
The paid page also participates in the conversion
After the transition, the user again evaluates the photo, description, number of open publications, price and regularity of updates. If the page looks abandoned or the description repeats generic words, a good site will not be able to close the sale.
Keep the pinned post current, clear cover and fresh previews within the rules of the site. Explain what is included in the subscription and what may be sold separately. Do not leave important conditions only in private messages after payment.
Mobile obstacles
Check the speed on regular mobile Internet, and not just on your home Wi-Fi. Large background images, external fonts, and heavy effects can hold up the first screen. Buttons shouldn't jump around after loading an image or be covered by a notification.
Make the entire direction card clickable, leave plenty of space between buttons, and make sure the external address opens with one click. The small arrow in the corner should not be the only active area.
Trust without fake activity
Real library sizes, update date, and official name are more useful than fictitious viewer counters. Do not create false messages about purchases, random "online" users or remaining seats. A person must understand where the design ends and the proposal being tested begins.
The authorship of xKeryB, links to the site rules and a single domain create a calm background for the solution. The more expensive the subscription, the more important clarity is.
Diagnostics by stages
- Few profile visits: finalize the teaser and signature.
- Many visits, few clicks: check bio and pin.
- There are clicks to the site, but few transitions further: simplify the first screen.
- Transfers reach the platform, but there is no payment: check the price, description and compliance with the teaser.
- Subscriptions cancel quickly: be honest about volume, updates and additional purchases.
In the next part we will collect analytics without fictitious norms: we will determine the indicators of each stage, test rules and a way to make decisions based on your own data.
